Spring flower workshop (3hrs)

This workshop is suitable for beginners to intermediate aged 16+

Session times are: 10am- 1pm

During the 3 hour workshop, each person will get to make one spring flower from the patterns provided, you will have a choice whether to add a hoop for hanging in a window, or you can add a brass stem to use it as a plant pot stake.

We will be making the flowers using the copper foiling method, this technique is commonly used for making smaller projects, such as suncatchers and lamps, as it allows for more detailed and intricate designs.

What you will learn:

  • About the tools and how to use them effectively

  • How to cut & grind glass

  • Foiling & soldering

  • Finishing touches

What do I need to bring?

All tools and materials are included in the cost, so all you need to bring is enthusiasm. please wear non-fluffy clothes and closed toe shoes.

Hot and cold drinks are provided, however please bring a packed lunch/ snacks if needed.

Cancellations are non-refundable if made 5 days prior to start date, unless I manage to re-sell your space on the workshop

Accommodation

If you do not live in Cornwall or would like to treat this course as a crafty get away, the studio is based near a beautiful campsite located on the north coast of Cornwall. There are pitches for a tent or hook ups for camper vans, handcrafted shepherds huts and eco pods.
