Glass Mackerel
This realistic Cornish Mackerel is made from fused blue glass fading into clear with a pop of yellow for the eye.
Once the body has been fused it is hand painted and fired in the kiln for a second time to permanently secure the paint to the glass. The tail and outline are then soldered together and polished to a high shine.
The Mackerel is 21cm long and hung by a small hoop on its tail.
